Youth who have spent at least one summer as a Youth Grower or one semester on the Compost Corps can apply to be a Leadership Intern. Leadership Interns have found a sense of purpose and challenge through their work with Cultivating Community and want to push that work further. Key components of this stipended nine-week summer position include peer mentoring of Youth Growers and other young gardeners, community organizing, and self-designed food security projects.
